Guest Spotlight!

We’re thrilled to welcome Eric Olcsvary to Forest City Comicon 2025!
Eric is a cartoonist and founder of the artist community AllsCherry, hailing from a small town in Southwestern Ontario. With over 4 years in the comics business, he’s already made his mark, working on more than a dozen books—including AllsCherry’s locally curated anthologies that help new creators learn the art of making comics.
Known for his bouncy, ink-heavy art style full of movement and unique composition, Eric has created standout series such as:

Overflow
Wendy and the Sprite

Most recently, Eric has plunged into the dark and imaginative world of Monster of the Abyss, collaborating with Scott Wojcik and Andrew Thomas. 2025 has been a massive year for him—he’s already released four new books!

And last but not least, the wonderful finishes off this years anthology with a lighthearted kids comic about a Boy and a Venus fly trap! What does that have to do with decay? Life… death…let us harness this power, why let the body rot along with humanities mortality, when we could be something so much more? Dallas delivers a simple and powerful take on Decay, beginning with a test subject and humanity’s cruelty. Story Spotlight 5: Withering Heights | Writer: Dan Wilkens, Artist: Shiro Gauthier

Continuing our decay theme through relationships, family, and cabin getaway from the world, a girl treks to a cabin to see her beloved grandfather who lives here alone, isolated from all else; they wonder how he could live here without being so… lonely.

A beautiful concept by Dan Wilkens and masterfully executed by Shiro, we can’t wait to see this in print!!
