Last week, a couple members of the Vicarious Team were generously invited to to check out and photograph some special pieces they had as well as indulge in some lovely espresso to warm up from the cold, and we were not let down! But this is one that immediately stood out to me and may be a favourite contender for us from , the TopTime Deus B01.

Vintage styling chronograph but a 41mm that fits just right on the wrist for modern day wear. The attention to detail from is what really pulled me in to this collaboration though, on the tachymeter where you could expect to find either the term “Tachymeter” itself or “Units Per Hour”, Breitling decided to add the moto heritage and add the term “In Benzin Veritas” which is Latin for “In Petrol We Trust” the motto used by Deus frequently for their Moto gear, but any enthusiast of things on wheels can appreciate that phrase! 🫡

A little something warm for the wrist during the cold and grey Canadian winters, the Conquest Chrono 42mm!

A lot of history to have on wrist for a very attractive price point coming in just shy of the $5,000 CDN mark, rocking a 59 hour power reserve thanks to the L898 movement that is on display thanks to the open caseback that any watch enthusiast is always a fan of, just like being able to open the hood of a car and see the engine!

Also perfect for daily winter wear, was the optional rubber strap this came on, for comfort and not getting nearly as cold on wrist as the stainless steel alternative. Also to mention the black rubber contrasts the ceramic bezel quite well!
