We are overjoyed to finally announce has partnered with arguably the best listening room in the city, the legendary, ! BUT - we need a small bit of urgent support to make it official. Email us for full details and read below for all the details. The arts need Toronto patrons to step up more than ever. Swipe for more photos.
Together, Hughs Room and I plan to build back better - including expanding Silverthorn into a studio/second concert venue/rehearsal space in the same building(!). So many possibilities, and the chance to preserve and rebuild the arts in Toronto the only way we can - through professional venues with affordability, inclusivity, vision, and soul.
But - in order to do so, Hugh's Room needs to acquire this amazing 296 Broadview Ave church. They almost have the capital they need to close a deal, but we need your help to get over the finish line - and in classic movie cliche fashion - there's only a week left! Please share this widely, or - if you have money you're looking to invest, you now have the chance to make Toronto arts history, save two vital creative institutions for generations to come at this vulnerable time, *and* watch your money grow.
Hughs Room are selling bonds with a 4.5% return and flexible terms, that are essentially recession-proof by being designed in partnership with the current church owners. Thats right - even the church owners love Hughs Room and are trying to do whatever they can to help them afford the building, agreeing to guarantee you will get your ROI and your investment back if requested. So - if you or someone you know wants to save Silverthorn, Hugh's Room, have it all build back better, do the arts in Toronto a huge service by providing it an incredible nonprofit music community center *plus* get a reliable return on investment, reach out ASAP to the gmail address above for more info! Bonds start at 50K and up, and we're only about 225K short in bonds as of writing this. We can do this!!! Please share!!
