Ever had a random urge to change your username?
Trust me, it’s one of the worst things you can do to your page.
I’ve been there. When I first created my account, I picked a username and things were going great—I was getting leads, engagement, everything! Then, for some reason, I got the bright idea to change it.
Big mistake.
Suddenly, my reach dropped, my leads disappeared, and people who used to find me just… vanished. I have no idea what went wrong, but it seriously messed things up.
The result? I ended up abandoning that page and starting fresh—with my original username again (lol).
This time, I don’t know if this page will grow as much, but I’m focusing on building authenticity over anything else.
Lesson learned: Think twice before changing your username!
