When Nobu Hotel Toronto officially opened its doors on June 1, it marked the culmination of more than seven years of arduous work on the high-end, multi-million luxury project. The hotel’s flagship restaurant opened to much fanfare in August 2024 and its luxury residences, housed in two dramatic residential towers totalling 600 units in the former Pilkington Glass Factory on Mercer St., sold out in record time. But the 36-room hotel perched atop the west tower on floors 41 to 45, offering dazzling, panoramic views of Lake Ontario and the city skyline, was delayed several times before finally opening its private doors earlier this year.
