I love Gordon Ramsey's collective "helping restaurants" shows, particularly Kitchen Nightmares.

The other ones aren't as good because they aren't Kitchen Nightmares, which has a perfect premise and ex*****on - restaurant is in trouble, Ramsey goes and helps.

Secret Service is the worst of the bunch because the premise is just... stupid. We are we watching Ramsey sit in a surveillance van? Get him into the restaurant so he can teach people how to run a business!

I watched Shin Godzilla for the first time today, and had the joy of it being the 4K release at Cineplex's AVX screen at the Scotiabank Theatre.

Tremendous film. A damning indictment of useless beaurocracy and one of the most visually visceral incarnations of Gojira. Top marks all round.

Modern Family has one of the strongest first episodes in sitcom history. Out of the blocks at full speed.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is great. A very different style for Marvel but it definitely paid off. An absolute treat to see Ralph Ineson in his biggest role, in every way possible and joke fully intended, as Galactus.

I have finally watched Bodyguard, and it is exceptional. Richard Madden put in an incredible performance, especially in the final episode.

I hope Eternals doesn't prove to stall his career, because he is an excellent actor (also Eternals was far better than most people gave it credit for, a lot of you were wrong about it and I will die on this hill)

I've been catching up with Netflix's Love, Death & Robots and ending Volume 4 on that Can't Stop episode was quite the choice.

As an immigrant to this land, I think it's important to engage as much as possible with local art and culture so that I am better equipped to understand the land that I call my home.

A little late to the party on this one, but Adolescence was an exceptional piece of television. Incredibly well written and performed and just outstanding direction as well.

The subject matter is terrifying. The program is tremendous.
