We are honoured to be screened at the Toronto Short Film Festival 🎉 Our short film, “Rotten,” will be screened on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:00pm at Paradise on Bloor. You can get your ticket at paradiseonbloor.com. We are so excited to show our film to a new audience, and to watch the talent found in our home city. Thank you, T.O. GIFFT awards (and other fun times)! I’m here to clear up what everyone is thinking: the trophy was greasy because I was eating popcorn as they were announcing our category. Anyway!!!

Thank you GIFFT for this honour. Our aim is always to create films that stay with our audiences long after viewing, and we are so happy to see that “Rotten” left its mark.

What an amazing weekend, celebrating film and filmmakers, connecting with our creative community, and laying the groundwork for the future of Greek-Canadian film. We are excited to see where this road takes us 🏆

We are so grateful to have won Best Canadian Short Film at GIFFT for a little movie called “Rotten” 🤘🏻 We adore this festival and everyone who organizes it. As Greek-Canadians, we understand the importance of community and belonging. We have experienced the strength of this community firsthand, and we would not be able to make films or have a place to show them if it weren’t for the Greeks always showing up for each other.

Many more pictures to come from these beautiful events, where we have met amazing people and seen some spectacular films. Congratulations to all the filmmakers who were part of this festival, you all have our admiration and respect. Thank you, GIFFT! 🎸

Another fun announcement! “Rotten” will be playing at GIFFT this fall! This is the second time we are participating in GIFFT, and we are so excited to show a new short film to the most supportive audience. Last year, GIFFT brought so many wonderful opportunities for us, and we are very thankful to have joined this community of passionate filmmakers.

“Rotten” will be opening for a feature film this year, Cafe 404. Come out on October 2nd at Imagine Cinemas Carlton to watch the two films, and support another local film festival. Link to tickets is in our bio. We will be there! Come hang out! 🤘🏻🎸

“Rotten” has been accepted in the Nightpiece Film Festival, as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 🎸🤘🏻

We have always admired the Fringe for its protection of creative freedom, its mission in representing all kinds of artists, and its support of creative people in their journeys. It truly showcases the power of community and collaboration.

Basically, we think the Fringe is really cool, we are very excited at the prospect of connecting with creative communities around the world, and we are so grateful to Nightpiece for showcasing our work. So many wonderful artists got started at Fringe, we are honoured, and excited to see what the future brings.

We are very happy about this one 🥹 Do us a favour and give some love to our team. This was a group effort, and we could not be prouder of what we have achieved, together.

Kendra Epik is a jack of all trades. This photographer, singer, dancer, filmmaker puts soul into everything she does. Always prioritizing community and lifting up other voices, Kendra is a leader and an inspiration. Her work embodies life at its fullest, and she is always expanding her arsenal, reflecting the dedication she puts into her craft. Kendra is polished, deeply grounded, and authentically her. She is creating spaces that welcome all, and we are all very lucky to be in her audience.
