Some friendships are just different. ❤️🥹

We’ve known each other since we were about 10 years old. We grew up in the same area, shared so many memories, and somehow, 20 years later, that friendship is still going strong.

After all these years, we finally got the chance to reunite here in Canada! 🇨🇦❤️ And honestly, seeing her again brought back so many beautiful memories.

She’s getting married, and I’m just so happy that life brought us back together at such a special time in her life. 🥹💍❤️

It’s moments like this that remind me that the friendships you make when you’re young can become some of the most meaningful relationships in your life.

Distance, different countries, busy lives… and yet, some friendships simply pick up right where they left off.

Let’s be honest… this would be so heartbreaking. 💔

I have nothing against anyone choosing to love who they love. Be honest about who you are and live your truth.

But please… don’t build a life with someone while hiding a part of yourself that could completely change the relationship.

If you want a man, be with a man. If you want a woman, be with a woman. If you’re still figuring yourself out, take the time to figure that out.

But don’t marry someone, let them give you their heart, and then years later tell them, “This is who I really am.”
Sometimes the hardest truth isn’t who you love… it’s realizing the person you loved was never able to love you in the way you thought. 💔

Keith Lott, 47, of Swedesboro, New Jersey, died suddenly in May 2026 after suffering cardiac arrest at home while with his wife, Brook.

After Keith was declared brain dead, his family says they became involved in a dispute with NJ Sharing Network over his organ donor status.

According to his family, Keith had previously registered as an organ donor but later changed his decision when he renewed his New Jersey driver’s license in 2025. His family says he had removed himself from the donor registry after converting to Islam.

The family alleges that representatives from NJ Sharing Network continued to pursue organ donation despite his updated donor status, leading to a dispute that eventually involved the office of New Jersey State Senator Paul Moriarty.

NJ Sharing Network has disputed the idea that a donor designation is permanently binding and says donor status can be changed.

Keith’s organs were ultimately not recovered, and his family was able to proceed with his burial.

This case has raised important questions about organ donation, changing donor preferences, religious beliefs, and whether a person’s most recent wishes are properly reflected when it matters most.

Working from home sounds amazing until you realize how much of the day you spend sitting down! 😂

So today, I got myself out of the house, went to the park and did some cardio, about 150 skips! 💪🏾🔥 Sometimes you just have to get up, move your body and make yourself active, especially when you have a sedentary lifestyle. And while the weather is still beautiful, I’m taking advantage of these summer days because before we know it… Canadian winter will be here! 😩😂☀️

Get outside, walk, dance, skip, exercise, just MOVE! ❤️

A man who came to Canada as a refugee nearly 30 years ago is now facing removal from the country he has called home for decades. Roman Slepcsik arrived in Canada in 1997, became a permanent resident in 1999 and has two Canadian daughters. But after repeatedly returning to the Czech Republic and travelling on Czech passports, Canadian authorities found that he had voluntarily reavailed himself of the protection of his home country.

His refugee protection was ceased, and he subsequently lost his permanent resident status. He is still fighting the legal battle and hoping to remain in Canada. His case raises important questions about refugee protection, permanent residence, citizenship and what can happen when a protected person returns to the country they originally claimed they could not safely return to. It is also an important reminder: understand the conditions attached to your immigration status before travelling.
