That’s how aka Devon Monty-Pasha must feel because we just gave her a new online identity!

From plain old free Godaddy template to custom Next.js React website.

The new website is optimized to be crawled by Search Engines and LLM’s.

Among other things we’ve added a detailed LLM.txt file to tell AI chatbots what the site is about as well as FAQ’s with Schema Markup and citations on all pages.

To some people adding a static photo booth in the foyer is the extent of the interactive entertainment!😣

Listen to a typical call with me and a potential client:

These are the conundrums of the events industry. The things we have little control of but remain annoying little pains in the butt!

Like the client who magically finds a budget once you've submitted your proposal.....and it's over budget!

I've seen trends come and go. Budgets go up and down.

I've weathered economic downturns, epidemics and pandemics.

The trick to longevity...........are you ready?
✨ Go with the flow. Be patient. Diversify. ✨

I really don’t envy event organizers these days. It’s a tough (and often thankless) job. But we keep going because, despite the chaos, we love what we do.

Here are some common problems event planners can identify with:

✅ Make Something from Nothing:

"We don’t have a concept, but can you pitch ideas and a budget by tomorrow?"

✅ The Insane RFP Game:

"Here’s an RFP. Plan the event down to every last penny… and maybe we’ll hire you. Maybe not."

✅ The ‘Make It Immersive’ Request:

"We want immersive, interactive, and innovative—but use last year’s shoestring budget."

The Reality:

Event planners are magicians with timelines, budgets, and expectations that are often worlds apart.

Here’s to all of us working together to keep the magic alive, one event at a time.
