The international event raises awareness of LGBT rights violations and stimulates interest in LGBT rights to work worldwide. By 2016 the commemorations had taken place in over 130 countries.

Hành trình đưa Áo Dài đến với bạn bè Quốc tế chưa bao giờ là đơn giản! Hơn 100 thiện nguyện viên đã cùng nhau chuẩn bị và tham gia Ngày Áo Dài 2022 tại Toronto City Hall. Tập thể thiện nguyện viên đã hoàn thành xuất sắc các hoạt động dưới cái nắng 30 độ của thành phố 🍀

Chúng tôi rất biết ơn sự đồng lòng và cố gắng của toàn thể quý cô chú, anh chị và các em thiện nguyện viên đã tham dự ngày hôm nay. Cùng nhau, chúng ta đã đưa hình ảnh của Tà Áo Dài Việt Nam đến với bạn bè tại Canada 🇨🇦

The Best Ao Dai - Ao Dai Day 2022 🇨🇦

In Ao Dai Day 2022, Ao Dai doesn't only represent the beauty of Vietnamese women but also has a mission to raise awareness about human trafficking around the world.

During the event, we will choose a gorgeous Ao Dai and show the spirit of connecting and sharing with the community. The selected person will surely have the best performance in participating in the event and convey the meaning of fighting human trafficking.

We would like to thank our sponsor Mitzify Canada for participating in Ao Dai Day 2022 with a gift of $250.

Note: The Ao Dai contest does not apply to volunteers using Ao Dai from our organization.

Bên cạnh nét đẹp của người Phụ nữ Việt, chiếc Áo dài lại khoác lên mình một sứ mệnh chung tay nâng cao nhận thức về nạn buôn người trên khắp nơi trên thế giới. Tại ngày hội Áo dài 2022, chúng tôi sẽ lựa chọn ra chiếc Áo dài lộng lẫy và thể hiện được tinh thần kết nối và sẻ chia cùng với cộng đồng. Người được lựa chọn chắc chắn sẽ có những những sự thể hiện tốt nhất trong việc tham gia chương trình và truyền tải được ý nghĩa của việc chống nạn buôn người.

Áo dài - Nét đẹp người phụ nữ Việt 🌸

☘ Trang phục Áo Dài cơ bản phản ánh bởi tính chất lao động nông nghiệp, do tính thuận tiện và gọn gàng – người mẹ, người bà ngày xưa đã hình thành y phục kết hợp từ váy, yếm và khăn vấn kết hợp với kỹ nghệ dệt thô sơ của mảnh áo Tứ Thân lúc bấy giờ được xem như loại trang phục tiện lợi cho công việc đồng áng

☘ Chiếc Áo Dài đã đồng hành cùng với số phận người phụ nữ Việt trong lao động nông nghiệp, chăm lo đời sống gia đình – một biểu tượng văn hóa rất đẹp cho một cộng đồng dân tộc Phương Đông vốn giàu tình nghĩa, vị tha giống như tính cách của các mẹ, các bà ngày xưa.

☘ Đồng thời, cùng sự phân chia giai cấp khắt khe của chế độ Phong Kiến từ những thế kỷ XIX, hình ảnh của những cung tần mỹ nữ, mệnh phụ phu nhân cao quý gắn liền với chiếc Ngũ Thân rực rỡ được may bằng chất liệu quý hiếm - thể hiện quyền lực, sức ảnh hưởng của một bậc mẫu nghi của triều đại phong kiến cuối cùng.

Giá trị đóng góp của nó không chỉ đơn thuần mang ý nghĩa biểu tượng mà còn sức mạnh của một tấm chiến giáp trong tiến trình phát triển dựng nước và giữ nước của dân tộc Việt Nam. Trong xã hội hiện đại, chiếc Áo Dài xuất hiện phổ biến tại các trường học, các công ty và doanh nghiệp lựa chọn là trang phục truyền thống, họ tự hào khi được khoác trên mình một giá trị di sản Việt – đó là niềm kiêu hãnh và ý thức trách nhiệm cùng nuôi dưỡng và trân quý những giá trị còn lại.

🌸 Ao Dai - The beauty of Vietnamese women 🌸

☘The basic Ao Dai costume is reflected by the naturally cultural behaviors of agricultural activities, due to its convenience and neatness – the mother and grandmother in the past formed a combination of skirts, bibs and scarves which are accessible with argicultural norms. The original custume of Tu Than shirt at that time was considered a representation of garment for farm work.

☘The Ao Dai has accompanied the value of Vietnamese women in agricultural labor, taking care of family - a very beautiful cultural symbol for an Oriental ethnic community that is rich in gratitude and selflessness like the impacable characters of mothers and grandmothers in the past.

☘At the same time, with the strict class division of the feudal system from the 19th century, the images of beautiful concubines and noble ladies are associated with the brilliant Ngu Than made of materials, which shows the power and influence of women of the last feudal dynasty.
