Mallow
Mallow starts gently. The first thing I notice is a soft sweetness that feels powdered rather than edible, like sugar dust clinging to skin instead of something you want to taste. There’s a hint of raspberry early on, light and pink, more of an impression than a fruit note. It blends quickly into vanilla sugar, smooth and airy.
As it settles, the heart becomes the soul of the fragrance. Powdery heliotrope and violet take over, creating that unmistakable cosmetic softness, like opening a vintage makeup pouch that still carries the memory of candy and skin. The almond note doesn’t turn gourmand in a pastry sense; instead, it adds a creamy, slightly textured nuance, rounding the sweetness and keeping it from feeling flat.
The dry down is where Mallow really lingers. Violet remains, cool and airy, wrapped in clean musk, vanilla resurfaces here, quieter, smoother, less sugar,
This isn’t a marshmallow bomb, and it isn’t trying to compete with louder, more extroverted sweet scents. Mallow feels intimate. Feminine in a soft, fairytale way. Powdery, whimsical, and comforting, with a subtle candy edge that never tips into childishness.
