The simplest videos on your feed are probably the ones getting the most views.

Hyper produced content isn't what's working anymore. People want real, raw, unpolished videos from actual humans.

And if you're not a professional videographer (you're a business owner, duh) this is great news!

The barrier of entry to creating content has NEVER been easier. Start on your phone - Instagram Edits or CapCut exist for people who aren't tech savvy.

And the moment editing starts eating hours you should be spending on the business, delegate it. Someone else will do it faster and better. Your time goes where the ROI is.

Why do most landscapers stay poor?

Because the industry tells them: "You're just a hand. Grab a shovel. Get to work."

Jesus built Highland Landscaping to $405K in a year, and people still look at him like he's less because he's a landscaper. His take: if you can set stone, plant plants, and turn a yard into something people live in, you're offering a luxury, not a commodity.

The difference is leadership. Show your guys they can become estimators, project managers, leaders. Lay out the vision so they can believe in what you're building.

If you've tried social media for your business and it didn't work... You didn't fail at it. You just lacked a strategy.

One or two random posts a month isn't a strategy. Neither is one video that took you a week. Most companies never post enough, never nail their messaging, never learn what actually performs, and quit too early.

The businesses that see results are the ones posting consistently enough to build familiarity and trust. A video should take about 15 minutes. A strategy, a couple hours of focused time.

Post with a strategy and trust compounds. Post at random and burnout compounds.

What does being broke actually teach you?

Courage you didn't know you had.

Before hit $405K in a single year, Jesus was broke. Plenty of times. His words: in that hole, you get courage you thought you didn't have, you start doing things you never thought you could, and you get out.

The most successful operators aren't just building companies. They're building themselves first. Personal goals hit before they're taught, so there's something real to pass to the next leader coming up.

Build yourself and the business follows. Build the business alone and the hole follows you.

The most successful operators aren't chasing the next revenue milestone. They're building a business that can carry it. Real systems, training, and people earning a skill AI can't replace.
