Subject: Important Update: Temporary Royalty Reporting Delays from TikTok & Meta
Dear Valued Customers,
We want to keep you informed about a current situation that may impact your royalty payments from TikTok and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). We understand that timely royalty reporting is crucial, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration these delays may cause. Please know that these issues are outside of DistroDirect's direct control, and we are actively working with both platforms to resolve them as quickly as possible.
Here's a breakdown of the current situation:
TikTok Royalties: The last processed royalties were for the streaming month of October 2024 (paid in January 2025). We are currently awaiting further reports for subsequent months and will notify you immediately once we receive new information.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Royalties: The last processed royalties were for the streaming month of December 2024 (paid in March 2025). We have been informed of delays in reporting for January and February 2025. As a result, Meta royalties for these months will not be included in the payouts for April and May 2025.
We know these delays are not ideal, and we appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we navigate this with TikTok and Meta. We are committed to providing transparent updates as soon as we have more information to share.
