Even after multiple politicians with eloquent arguments against the invocation of the emergencies act such as this, it still passed 185-151. Unfortunately, so many people that haven’t been affected by Covid or the mandates are on the sidelines, saying nothing. What makes me even sadder is that we have yet to see any Canadian influencers or Canadian celebrities say anything about what’s happening to their country right before their eyes. today. Democracy and our once free country are in danger, and if we don’t do or say anything because “it hasn’t affected me,” we’ve already lost.
