This morning we were already on our way to school when Ayan suddenly said, “Mommy! We forgot flowers for my teachers!” 🌸🥹 So we made a quick stop at Pookadai.com before heading back.
While we were picking them out he said, “Girls love flowers. They like pink flowers because girls like pink.” 😂💕 It turned into the sweetest little conversation about how girls can like any colour, just like boys can. He carefully picked the flowers, made sure they were safely tucked into the gift bags, and the whole drive to school kept reminding me, “Drive slow, Mommy! The flowers have to stay safe!” 🥹
Then, completely out of nowhere, he looked at me and said, “When I’m bigger, I’m going to buy you LOTS of flowers.” 🌷😭
At this point I have a whole list of things he’s promised to buy me when he’s older. 😂❤️
I wanted to film him giving the flowers to his teachers, but the moment was so emotional. They got teary… then I got teary… and before I knew it, I forgot all about recording. 😂 Is it the postpartum hormones, or have I always been a crybaby? Honestly… probably both. 🤣
Watching him show so much thought and kindness at only 3 years old made me so proud. If there’s one thing I hope my boys grow up knowing, it’s that the little things matter. Flowers, kind words, thoughtful gestures… they all have a way of making someone feel loved. 💛🌸
