Est. 2019 with our first party held Valentine's Day 2020, SLOW FIZZ Northern Soul Club Toronto fast becqme a hidden gem Rare & Northern Soul Vinyl Dance Party! Founded by Cher, vinyl collector of many genres for 25+ years and Northern Soul DJ spinning original vinyl. She became disillusioned by the same pop/classic soul tunes and realized that great B-sides to old releases weren't receiving a prop

er airing and deserved their time to shine on Toronto dance floors and knew club goers would fall in love with them if given a chance. SLOW FIZZ quickly gained the attention and following of expat soulies longing to hear the tunes they grew up dancing to at UK all-nighters and new keen soulies alike looking for a refreshing soul party. It wasn't long after that SLOW FIZZ solidified and distinguished ourselves as a Northern Soul Club. SLOW FIZZ hosts brilliant DJ friends from home and around the globe spinning Rare & Northern Soul, Latin Soul, Deep Funk, Crossover, Modern & Neo Soul! Find us at our monthly residency 3RD Saturdays at Swan Dive and frequent pop ups at Handlebar! We've hosted and guested numerous livestreams from week one of the pandemic. 'Slow Fizz Sunday Sessions' weekly livestreams spotlighted talented vinyl soul DJs from around the globe and SLOW FIZZ All-Dayer was the first all womxn DJ livestreamed soul all-dayer going over 9 hours and featuring 12 DJs from around the globe. Massive thanks again to everyone who made it out to our second session of this past Friday night! Such great vibes all night long! Special appreciation and love to our guest for keeping the dance floor hot all night long and wonderful hosts for always providing a safe and inclusive space! The energy these last couple months has been beautiful to see, even braving the cold and rain! I can't wait to see what the summer months have in store for our little dance party!

Just been brought to our attention that last month we made the list of '15 things to do in Toronto this weekend'! Not expected but truly appreciated. It was definitely a sweaty and sultry dance party to say the least! A few folks in attendance told us they heard the word out about our party and had to check it out including former Slow Fizz party goers! It warms our hearts to see new and old faces come on this journey with us. Not always easy plugging these parties in a big city like Toronto especially when our main passion and drive is all devoted to selecting the tunes we wanna play for y'all. As a new party we're so grateful for all the love & shout outs. We're not here for a long time so let's make it a good time together with an inclusive atmosphere and timeless soundtrack. Hope to make that list again when brings the party to and kicks off the weekend next Friday, April 4! 🍒🪩💦
