Welcome To The Wastes Wasteland broadcast from Grimm Grinner, as he travels around, collecting stories and transmitting to anyone that can catch his signal.

Welcome to the Wastes is a wasteland radio-style podcast written and created by Grimm Grinner (Edward Grimm). As Grimm and CJ venture around the wastes, they'll collect tales from the settlements they come across and the characters they meet, all while avoiding the enforcers from the corporations running the GAT, and bring them to the ears of anyone that can catch their signal.

As an extra exclusive this weekend at Fan Expo, I'm adding in an exclusive limited release of a Grimm Grinner trading card to go alongside the ones I've made for !

Guess who's back, wasteland!!!

Grimm Grinner is back on all channels, after a rough stint behind the walls of the G*T. There's plenty of news in The Wastes, and someone's gotta tell it!

It's good to get things back to normal for Welcome To The Wastes, and I'm busy writing more interesting stories and taking what I learned in sound design school to apply it to everything I do going forward. So expect some higher quality broadcasts, wasteland!

That's right, wasteland! Welcome To The Wastes is going to be at Fan Expo thanks to !

I'll be bringing hourly wasteland trivia, Cap Stash Clash version 1.5, trading cards, and more to be announced in the coming weeks!

I'll be at the Canadian Podcast Awards booth in the community zone of the south building at the following times:

•Saturday, August 29, 10am-2pm
•Sunday, August 30, 10am-1pm

I can't wait to meet to hang out and be a nerd and talk Fallout, the wasteland, and more!

Keeping things lowkey and spending the day at the waterpark with and just generally relaxing for birthday number 37. It's fun to party it up, but taking time to relax amidst all the chaos of school, work, and multiple shows is good for the soul.

[Slight] Thumbnail Update!

With the change to the new Voice In The Static logo, I updated the Welcome To The Wastes show art just slightly!

I'm doing a bunch of design revamps across everything as I start to lean into taking all of these podcasts and my work as a sound designer and producer more seriously, so expect to see some changes everywhere. Nothing too huge, I'm definitely not going all Corporate on you all, but making my brands as identifiable as possible will just help me transmit on all channels!

Me? Distracted? It could never be.

Sorry there hasn't been a post in a few days, wasteland! I've been hard at work on school assignments and starting a new job path, and when the podcast episode writing is stacksd on top, it builds to a lot going on here. But that's not stopping me!

Things are looking up for Double Double Radio and Welcome To The Wastes, along with all the other fun new projects, and when I can share more, I will!

In the meantime, stay tuned, Ronto!

The newest bit of sound work I'm doing to add to Welcome To The Wastes and other projects is designing with synths!

I've posted before about the budding collection as it's grown, and currently, I'm at a point where it's coming together for what I want to be doing. Themes for both shows, hints of background music in broadcasts, maybe even some other projects I've got in mind. I have been listening to a lot of dungeon synth lately, maybe some wasteland synth is in order...?
