Yesterday, I had the privilege of hosting friends and family who came in from Ancaster for the Victoria Day long weekend. We used the opportunity to have meaningful discussions about my desire to serve the people and contribute positively to nation building.
Following several consultations and engagements with stakeholders across different levels from grassroots leaders and ward structures to party stakeholders at the federal level over the past weeks it has become clear that, considering the current timing and the already established structure within the Nigeria Democratic Congress, the wisest and most strategic path is to begin building a strong grassroots foundation ahead of the next electoral cycle, as much of the current process is already nearing conclusion.
Real leadership is not built overnight. It is built through service, sacrifice, relationships, grassroots engagement, and long-term commitment to the people.
For someone coming from Canada with a genuine passion to contribute meaningfully to nation building, this period presents an opportunity to learn, connect, organize, and build a formidable structure for the future.
I remain committed to the vision of a progressive Nigeria driven by production, innovation, youth empowerment, industrial development, accountability, and responsible leadership. This is no longer just about an election it is about being part of national development and building a movement that can create lasting impact through ideas, policies, and service to the people.
To everyone who called, supported, encouraged, advised, and believed in this journey from the very beginning, I sincerely appreciate you all. Your support means more than words can express, and this is only the beginning of a long-term journey toward meaningful change.
