🌿 Faith, Purpose, and Power — October 14, 2025 🌿

In this episode, we celebrate the feast of St. Teresa of Avila (October 15) and explore her lessons on prayer, perseverance, and living a faith-filled life.

We also reflect on the Worldwide Rosary Rally (October 11), a powerful tradition where people gather publicly to pray the Rosary for the world, their communities, and personal intentions.

Sister Gemma from the Legion of Mary at St. Mary Parish in Chilliwack, BC, joins us to share her faith journey, her work with the Legion, and practical ways to make the Rosary a part of daily life — at home, in schools, at work, or even during a walk or run.

CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH
In addition to the physical pain, on the cross, Jesus experienced a profound psychological anguish, caused by the abandonment of his friends and the mockery of his enemies. However, what caused him the greatest suffering was the sense of desolation of being abandoned by God.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we gather this Thanksgiving, let us pause to recognize God’s abundant blessings in our lives. We are grateful not only for the food on our tables but for the gift of family, friends, and community. In moments of joy and in times of trial, God’s love remains steadfast, guiding and sustaining us. Let us remember those less fortunate and extend our hearts and hands in charity, sharing the gifts we have received. May this day be an opportunity to deepen our gratitude, offering prayers of thanks for God’s providence. May the Lord bless your homes with peace, joy, and love, today and always.
