OPC is so proud to welcome Norwegian directing team Matias & Mathias to our roster for commercial representation in Canada!
 
Making films together since they were 15, Matias Rygh and Mathias Nordli Eriksen have honed a comedic voice rooted in situational humour, performance and existentialism. From cringe comedy fashion films and sh*t in space, to lauded Superbowl spots with global brands… their work stands out for its creative bravery. These guys are committed, they’ll go to that weird place and stay there, unflinching, until everyone has joined them. And we’re obsessed.
 
Commercially, Matias & Mathias work internationally with brands including Reeses, Samsung, YouTube and Dollar Shave Club, and have been recognized by major award shows including Cannes, Epica and Eurobest.
 
Matias & Mathias are represented by Epoch Films in the US, Bacon in Scandinavia and Anorak in Germany.

OPC is *enormously proud* to welcome director Sophia Smith [] to our roster for commercial representation worldwide!
 
A performance-comedy filmmaker based in Toronto, Sophia brings a modern take to a classic genre. Her performance-driven character studies explore the ways in which people act unapologetically like themselves. Inspired by tension, honesty between strangers, selfishness and unbridled confidence - Sophia’s storytelling lives inside unguarded human moments… and never pulls a punch 🔥
 
Narratively, Sophia’s short films LOLA and MOMMY both featured in Shots and were awarded Vimeo Staff Picks. MOMMY premiered on Nowness, screened at NoBudge, and was programmed at independent cinemas in LA and NY. These films encapsulate two thirds of a trio of shorts from Sophia, exploring the throes of communication and intimacy – the third of which is currently in post-production. 
 
Commercially, Sophia has worked with brands including AIRB, Full House Lottery, Give Life Alberta, and Lululemon.
 
We have supported and borne witness to Sophia’s rapid growth as a filmmaker, and couldn’t be happier to launch her directorial career at OPC ❤️
