Do you have a little one starting school this year? Are you still shopping for a new lunchbox?
You might want to consider this ⬆️ Original 6-compartment lunchbox.
Here are a few reasons why I love it:
✅ it’s leakproof (overall & between compartments). Pack yogurt, applesauce, pudding, etc next to other foods without worrying about leaks or soggy food
✅ easy to open & close with 1 child-friendly latch
✅ the inner trays have pre-portioned compartments with illustrations of the food groups making it super easy to pack a balanced lunch (even kids can follow along & help with packing their own lunch!)
✅ the 6 compartments encourage variety for lunch which is great for picky eaters or kids who prefer to have a snack-style lunch. But, you can still pack sandwiches in here too - simply cut them into bite size pieces as shown above ⬆️
✅ the air-tight seal keeps food fresh! Pack your child’s lunch the night before & the food will be just as fresh as the moment you packed it.
✅ fits easily in most lunchbags
✅ very lightweight
✅ can last several years (I recommend hand washing although it is dishwasher safe, top-rack only)
📍Important tips:
1️⃣ after packing your child’s lunch, press down on the top of the box after closing. This will ensure that the silicone seal on the lid engages properly with the inner tray and lunch stays leakproof
2️⃣ do not overstuff the compartments
3️⃣ ensure that you are only using the correct tray for your style of Yumbox. Although the Yumbox Original and Panino are the same size, their trays do not line up with each other’s silicone lid lining. You will not get a completely leakproof seal if you switch trays, plus you will risk damaging the silicone over time.
