Toronto born bassist, composer and bandleader Artie Roth has been active nationally and internationally for over 30 years and appears on over 60 full length recordings. The music seamlessly crosses genres between jazz, rock, funk, folk and ambient soundscapes 🎼

Hello jazz listeners, supporters and music fans!

I am very pleased to announce the launch of the third Artie Roth Quartet album, "Resonants" on TPR records at The Rex August 12-15th. The recording was digitally released in 2023 to rave reviews; this is the actual live release. We had a very active touring and performing life prior to 2020, but the pandemic and personal circumstances made it necessary for me to step back from my busy performance schedule. WE ARE BACK!!! There will be Cds, Vinyl and T shirts available at the gig. I will be posting more details in the days and weeks ahead, but for now, I am spreading the word for advance notice. Hope to see you there.
