Ernesto Hernandez, also known as Legacy, was raised in poverty. He was born and raised in Santa Clara, Cuba, but spent his formative years in Cienfuegos. Legacy had developed an interest in the music business and nightlife.

When he was 6 years old, him & his mother had moved from Cuba to Canada for a better life. It wasn't easy for Legacy to get to where he is today. After his mother divorced his biological father and later then his stepfather, not having a real father figure in his life had made it harder for him to endure his trials and tribulations.

After trying many different businesses with many failures, he eventually succeeded in creating something for himself and his family, thus the name "Legacy" he uses as an artist.

Legacy is inspired by the events in his life and thus uses everything he goes through to write and produce his unique music. He loves what he does and hopes to inspire many others to do the same.
