The County of Brant is proud to present Walking Through the Fire, a FREE outdoor concert at Culture Connects in Lions Park, Paris, Ontario, on Sunday, October 5 at 3:00 p.m. Details at https://culturedays.ca/en/events/607b0452-4445-4450-b210-fd1cda9903f9

Walking Through the Fire with Marc Meriläinen, Shannon V Thunderbird, Alyssa Delbaere-Sawchuk, Lacey Hill, and Sultans of String is brought to you in the spirit of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action and Final Report that calls for Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists to work together to show a path forward, and together have created Walking Through the Fire. This album and live show are a powerful collection of collaborations between the roots group and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists from across Turtle Island.

We're happy to have special guest Lacey Hill for this show! Lacey is a member of the Onedia Wolf Clan and is a Six Nations-born and bred, independent singer-songwriter who describes her music as "Indigenous Soul," a genre she developed from a passion for making music since she was a little girl.
