The “Afrikan Homeboy Shopping Network” provides you access to 1-of-a-kind custom art, music, health and beauty items and services from Africa and the diaspora. FROM JULY 8 to 12, pre-order items from Ghana, hand-picked for you by your personal African shopping assistants, a well-connected team of bargain shoppers directed by your style-master, Kobèna Aquaa-Harrison. While on shopping safari in Ghana, new sale items will be posted.

The evening will feature performances by legendary artists Michie Mee, Jay Douglas, Kobena Aquaa-Harrison, DJ Carl Allen and more, hosted by Michael Williams. The event will also feature a display focussing on the life and accomplishments of Eric Mercury and a special address from Rosemary Sadlier.

Last November we wondered why we needed to have a living library of instruments, art, music or passion. Were we becoming a museum? February 2021, Black History Month. Abandze Embassy's director, Kobèna Aquaa-Harrison was busy with various projects. We are available to work with theatre, media, jingle houses, universities for video streaming, audio and video production and editing for artists, community organizations and special projects.

Looking forward to looking back on Toronto International Film Festival's Planet Africa programme. Visoionary head Cameron Bailey, Gaylene Gould and June Givanni directed it's 10 year span with the best of African cinema from around the world. It was Wakanda in the sea of Tarzan movies and the wrap party became THE legendary party to attend. Hollywood was thirsty. PA was a revolutionary flag in TO's Black renaissance when we were founding our own businesses, arts organizations, festivals and generally being loud and beautiful en mass. Cameron dreamed up Planet Africa during the aftermath of the Rodney King beating and following uproar. Orla La-Wayne Garriques, produced the Planet Africa legacy website, capturing it's history.
