Yung Miami (born Caresha Romeka Brownlee) is an American rapper and actress best known as half of the platinum-selling hip-hop duo City Girls. Hailing from Miami, Florida, she rose to prominence in the late 2010s before launching successful solo and acting careers. Yung Miami grew up in the Miami area and always had a strong passion for hip-hop. She and JT formed the rap duo City Girls in 2017, catching their first major break when they were featured on Drake’s hit 2018 track “In My Feelings”. The duo quickly made a name for themselves with their unapologetic, raw style, releasing projects like Period, Girl Code, and Twerk.
