✋This is your friendly reminder that when you consistently engage with the same type of content across the board all you do is create an echo chamber. ✋

Take a step back and look at the whole picture. Yes it is important to hear from that perspective, but it is also important to learn more about other things too.

My pro tip: Be punk about it. Click on everything, anything or nothing at all.

A few years back I got really into watching both stripper vlogs and how to live in your car without getting in trouble with the law videos. I was really into the tiny house community and one day YouTube recommended me one video and suddenly that’s all I was being shown.

Moral of the story, no one says you have to stay in one place. Same applies for the internet.

How else was inconvenienced by that IG/FB outage yesterday? Really hoping there are no more hiccups… 🤞

It seems almost ironic to ask about an issue with social media when I am trying to promote a blog post about how the internet works. We are so attached to these devices its crazy. If an alien came down and saw how much we’re slaves to our systems I wonder what they would think…

Now I KNOW I have not been as consistent on here as I should be and I seriously want that to change. How can I disrupt your idea of the internet and modern society if I NEVER SHARE MY IDEAS WITH YOU!?

❗Constructive Criticism Only❗

I needed something that would pop a bit more when used it in different graphics and images.

To me, That Middle will always be about coming together and having difficult conversations from both sides of the table.

Green represents the importance of the ENVIRONMENT in everything that we do and the 'fake' gold is a bit of a nod to the challenges faced by people during the Gilded Age of the past (if you don't know what I am talking about look it up, give yourself a lil history lesson). I wanted to use the earth to represent the middle because I want to have global conversations on these digital global platforms.

So tell me what do you think of this logo refresh? Do you have any constructive criticism for me that I can take and apply to my next redesign? I'm all ears for any feedback that can help me grow, so don't be shy! 👇
