Black History Month is more than a celebration, it’s a reminder. A reminder of the resilience of those who fought for freedom, equality, and opportunity. A reminder that the progress we cherish was not given; it was earned through struggle, sacrifice, and unbreakable determination.
Yet today, we face new obstacles. Hard-won rights are being challenged, diversity efforts are being dismantled, and systemic barriers remain. The road ahead will not be easy, but neither was the road behind us. If history has shown us anything, we will continue to break barriers and push forward. We build and re-build. We support one another.
This month—and every month—we honor the past by fighting for the future. We stand for justice. We uplift Black voices. We invest in Black communities. Because progress doesn’t happen by remembering history alone—it happens when we act.
