“No Dress Rehearsal” brought back a lot of memories. Gord started rehearsing “Secret Path” a few days after the final concert in Kingston and was only able to do a few live performances of the piece before he passed.

As you know the Downie and Wenjack family started a charity - the Downie Wenjack Fund - which is dedicated to the memory of Chanie Wenjack and to the mission of truth and reconciliation for all First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. I’m proud to have been on the board since its founding.

Hi - I sort of hate Meta so never go on here - but wanted to share that there are two projects coming to TIFF that I worked on that are of interest to Canadian friends!

1. "The Knowing" is an epic series on Canadian history directed by Tanya Talaga and Courtney Montour.

2. "No Dress Rehearsal" is the story of the The Tragically Hip, directed by Mike Downie.

Both are really incredible series, will be widely available on CBC Docs and Amazon.ca in the fall - but you can can catch them first at the festival.
