I am a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and Registered Nurse (RN) by profession specializing in the geriatric population. I immigrated to Canada from the Philippines 14 years ago. After 8 long years of being away from my children, we were finally reunited in Canada. I missed a big chunk of my kids’ childhood years, a few birthdays and Christmas’ because I had no other choice but to work overseas t

o better our lives. I am a hard working person, working 2 or 3 jobs all the time and making a decent amount of money; however, I feel like I still can’t get ahead in life. I’ve looked at different business ideas for nurses but nothing seems to fit. I love my job as a nurse but I feel that something is missing in my career.
