​The NBA has officially concluded its investigation and found NO evidence of salary cap circumvention regarding Kawhi Leonard and Steve Ballmer.

​With the league’s review completely cleared and zero roadblocks left in the way, the path is wide open for the blockbuster trade to be finalized. The Klaw is officially coming home to the 6ix, locked in to join Scottie Barnes and Collin Murray-Boyles for training camp next month!

Despite all the extra noise and reports flying around the league right now, insiders are still pointing to one clear outcome: Kawhi Leonard in a Raptors jersey this fall.

​Sportsnet’s Michael Grange recently highlighted that behind the scenes, there remains a steady, quiet confidence that the league’s review will wrap up and the trade will officially go forward in time for training camps on September 28. The most likely resolution is a negotiated settlement that allows the NBA to handle its business while clearing Kawhi to join Toronto long-term.

​Toronto’s front office is simply doing their due diligence to make sure everything is completely clean before finalizing the paperwork.

Huge update on the Kawhi situation!

​Sportsnet’s Michael Grange reports that Kawhi Leonard is expected to join the Raptors for training camp on September 29th in Quebec City.

​The logic is simple: if the NBA's investigating law firm actually had definitive proof that the Clippers and Kawhi circumvented the cap, they would’ve dropped those findings months ago.

​All signs are pointing toward the green light, and the wait is almost over. Having Kawhi suited up for training camp from day one alongside Scottie and the squad is massive for building chemistry ahead of the season.

We have some massive clarity on the Kawhi Leonard trade situation straight from the commissioner himself!

​Speaking in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Adam Silver shut down the rumors and confirmed that the NBA did not pause or block our trade with the Clippers. The league simply made both teams aware of the ongoing salary cap investigation, and both front offices mutually agreed to put things on hold until it's finished so Toronto doesn't inherit any unnecessary contractual risk.

​The best part? Silver made it clear his timeline to wrap this whole investigation up and deliver a final decision is still this summer.

​This is actually great news for the Raptors. It means the deal is completely safe, the league isn't standing in the way, and we are on track to get a final resolution very soon so Kawhi can officially join Scottie and CMB for training camp!

The Greatest Raptor of All Time is officially retiring where he belongs.

​Kyle Lowry signed a one-day contract today to retire as a Toronto Raptor. Bobby Webster and the front office also confirmed that his iconic No. 7 jersey will be going up into the rafters at Scotiabank Arena this upcoming season.

​And of course, Kyle couldn’t help but crack jokes at the press conference about running it back now that Kawhi is back in town.

Brian Windhorst is reporting that this trade could literally happen today, but there’s a catch.

​The Raptors and Clippers have already agreed on the player compensation—word is Brandon Ingram would be heading to LA. What they're actually haggling over right now is draft picks. The Raptors have four first-round picks they can move, and the Clippers obviously want a chunk of them.

The analysts on First Take are already breaking down what Kawhi Leonard to Toronto would look like.

​Even if it costs us an asset like Brandon Ingram or RJ Barrett, Kawhi changes everything for this roster. We already have a top-5 regular season defense, but where we really struggle is half-court scoring and closing out games in the clutch. Kawhi’s mid-range game fixes that immediately.

Shams Charania is reporting that the Clippers and Raptors are in "serious" trade talks about bringing Kawhi Leonard back to Toronto.

​Here is the wildest part: according to Shams, if Kawhi gets traded outside of LA, Toronto is the only place he is willing to sign a long-term extension. That gives Bobby Webster and the front office an insane amount of leverage in negotiations.

​The last time he came here for a year, he brought us a ring. Imagine adding him long-term next to Scottie Barnes.
