I’m super excited to share that two of my albums-Decompression and Retro‑Moderne have officially been picked up by KMG Distribution in New York City and are available on ALL streaming platforms worldwide! 🌍🎶 Please listen, buy and share-I made them for your ears🥰

🌀 Decompression was born during the stillness of the pandemic -a trippy, high-lonesome record that drifts through dreamy landscapes and emotional terrain.

💥 Retro‑Moderne, produced by the incredible Gus Van Go (of Me, Mom & Morgentaler fame), brings a punchy, international sound straight outta NYC -modern, stylish, and made to move.

Without further ado, it’s my pleasure to announce the next release on Soul Jones Records: the solo debut of singer/songwriter Honoré, due August 1st.

Detroit-born, now based in Toronto – two glorious songs on a double A-side: “It’s Over” and “Innocent & Real”.
Sweet, luxurious soul performed by an 18-piece orchestra produced by and , alongside her crack session band, the Detroit Lovers.

Out this week in the UK. Available from after midnite on Thursday to download immediately, with vinyl pre-orders also going live. First pressing limited to just 300 copies.

I started working with Dahlia this year. I can always feel when something larger than us is in the room when tracking. We’ve been visited by spirits several times as we work and it always makes the hair on my arms stand on end. The added dimension of being guided by ancestors has helped me in the production process and I know that I’m serving both Dahlia and these spirits in the studio. There’s something important happening here. A woman with a very strong spirit guided by ancestors and radiating love is something I didn’t know was coming my way. working the Neve at yesterday. Vic was born to be in the studio. The best engineers are artists and that’s what Vic is. The best engineers are also natural family people. Vic is also that. Understanding all the interpersonal dynamics he has guided me through a lot of records. My career for the last decade would have been good but Vic has helped me get beyond that by training me and encouraging me. Credit where credit’s due a huge part of the sound of my productions is Vic.

Wooden Walls is out now. just released her first single in the country genre and tbh it makes a lot of sense. Michaela is a very strong top line writer and those who know are aware that that skill crosses genres with ease. How great to live in a world where you can explore. The team was huge and everyone worked so hard to get Michaela’s vision actualized. I gotta say when she initially mentioned it … I had some questions but it didn’t take long to realize these tunes have legs big time. Congratulations Michaela ! You did a great job.
