With RFK Jr.'s outrageous claims about autism ringing in people's ears, there's no better time to watch our Yearbook episode with Victoria Hammond and her search to re-connect with Ben. It's one of our favourite episodes!

We can't think of a more important issue during this election than the potential loss of automotive jobs in Ontario. We followed the people at the GM plant in Oshawa in the year before it's closure half a decade ago. Although it lives on in a diminished capacity, this film gets you inside the lives of those affected by the kinds of layoffs that will be unleashed by tariffs. Get up close and find out how people feel when these events unfold. Go to CBC Gem and watch Company Town in the POV series, season 4.

WE can't think of a more important issue in this election (and just in general) other than the potential loss of automotive jobs in Ontario. We made a film about the last year of the GM plant in Oshawa. Although there's activity there again, it'll never be the same. Company Town follows all those affected by the closure at that time a few years back. Take a look and get inside the story!

CBC’s new documentary program gets to the heart of current affairs and social issues that matter to Canadians. With unique and often unexpected access, these stories will ignite discussions.

With the looming, look at some of the people playing a role in the election from the three major parties, debating the issues still at stake some years after season 2 was broadcast. Not much has changed in terms of the issues that matter to Canadians. We need more civil discourse and here's how you do it!

Canadian politicians from across the political spectrum spend two days together debating the most important issues of the day, and getting to know each other...

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Anne Innis Dagg (1933-2024), a pioneering zoologist, ground-breaking biologist, animal rights activist, feminist, professor, and recipient of the Order of Canada. Her work studying the secrets of giraffe biology inspired generations of scientists around the world.

We were lucky enough to introduce her story to audiences around the world in our film, Giraffes: The Forgotten Giants, broadcast on CBC Docs The Nature of Things, ARTE in France and Germany, and on PBS to American audiences.

Rest in Power, Anne. Your pursuit of science as a pioneering woman in a man’s world showed many how to persevere in the search for the truth.

An exciting look at scientist trying to solve the last pieces of code about how giraffes communicate. Meet giraffes living in the wild in Africa and in capti...
