Dave and I took the 4Runner all the way up to 14,115 feet! We tackled the legendary Pikes Peak Highway in Colorado, and let me tell you, those steep grades and switchbacks are no joke.

A new video is up! 🏕️ Dave and I have been spending a lot of time traveling in our home-on-wheels lately, and we finally tackled some of those little everyday annoyances that add up on long trips.

Our latest video is up! We are sharing a real look at what a typical travel day looks like for us on the road as we continue our journey through Colorado.

In this episode, we leave Great Sand Dunes National Park and head toward our next stop. Along the way, we hike through the canyon at Zapata Falls, grab lunch at a great local spot called Gub Gub's in Walsenburg, and finally unhitch and set up camp at Lake Pueblo State Park.

New comparison is up.

I’ve owned an Escape 19 for a while now, but I’ve also spent a lot of time camping with an Escape 21C. Same trips, same campgrounds, which makes the differences way more obvious than you’d expect.

I broke down how they actually compare in real-world use (not just specs): towing, space, sleeping setup, storage, and how they feel after a few days out camping.

I made another modification to my Escape 19. This time, I replaced the factory installed lock with a lock that has a keypad/fringerprint unlock feature. I had something similar on my last RV, and really missed it. I hate always needing to carry my keys with me when I go to the beach or biking.
