NEWS | Former American missionary Jeriah Mast has pleaded guilty to federal child exploitation charges involving two boys he sexually abused while working in Haiti.

Mast, an Ohio native who repeatedly traveled to Haiti as a missionary, previously admitted to investigators that he had sexually abused more than 30 boys in Haiti over a period spanning several years. Authorities have also said he admitted abusing four children in Ohio.

His latest guilty plea covers two counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with minors in Haiti. Mast is scheduled to be sentenced on December 15, 2026, and faces decades in federal prison. •
