Well it’s been a minute since our last interview, but having survived another snowy Canadian winter we thought some Scandinavian indie electronica might help with the spring thaw! 🌼
Today we sit down with Stockholm-based musician Möbeltassen on the release of his new album Thought Leaders and talk about all the eclectic bits and bobs that went into making it. No stranger to releasing groove-laden sonic jams Möbeltassen is a slight departure from his other musical projects of Pokal, which leans more in the dream-pop direction, and Radio Banana, which is a four piece jazz-funk-electronica group. The launching of this new Möbeltassen project serves as more of a catch-all for his eclectic studio sessions and drum forward indie jams. Expect laid-back grooves, sparsely placed vocal hooks, reverb soaked guitar and a kind of tasteful minimalism throughout!
