The Continuist is produced by students and is made up of artwork and other creations by students. Our goal is to give local artists in Toronto a means to publish their work for free, and for others to discover and appreciate some great work that they may not otherwise come across. We print small publications, run events, and hang out with other zinesters. We always need more members on our team. I

🥳SHADES, our Winter 2022 anthology project is live!!!

📲Head over to the link in our bio or our website thecontinuist.com to access our Winter 2022 anthology, filled with INCREDIBLE creative work from members of our community and beyond 🌎

This is also your last chance to sign up for tonight’s ZINE LAUNCH PARTY happening TONIGHT @ 7 PM (EST) 🎉 Come and celebrate SHADES with all of us! Tip: the prizes tonight will be based off the anthology so make sure you read it in all its glory beforehand!

SHADES was made possible by the hard work and support of our team, volunteers, and our community’s creatives!

🎤GET READY FOR THE EVENT OF THE YEAR! We are beyond excited to invite all of YOU to our SHADES anthology launch party🎟!
This virtual event will have live performances, virtual vendors, games, prizes and art from our local creative community🎨!

🎫Whether you submitted your work to SHADES or just want to join in on the fun and see what our amazing community has to offer, all are welcome! Mark your calendars🗓 for April 7th @ 7PM EST. Sign up ASAP by heading to the Eventbrite link in our bio!

The theme of the event is SHADES:
➡️ Our inspiration for SHADES comes from the unique feeling that the new year provides. It’s time to take on new challenges, move on from the past and finally get to do the things you’ve been talking about for so long. With yet another year amid the pandemic, we wanted artists to look into what the future holds, whether that be good, bad or somewhere in between. That is why this anthology will be separated into three distinct sections on our website: light, neutral and dark.
