I am not the world's . . . neatest stitcher. My backs, at least. Maybe it's that I don't notice the knots soon enough to fix them, with a low tolerance for frogging back more than a couple stitches. So if you want to know what a ProfessionalTM Designer's backs look like . . . it's knots. It's just knots and tangle and lumps.

A personal piece I finished to thank our vet and his team for caring for Pekoe at the end of her life - he's been caring for our whole family, reptiles included, for the last eleven years. I was struggling to find a vet appreciation pattern I liked, so I put this one together and used some variegated floss to give it a bit more visual interest. Gave it to him this week.
