We also specialize in Theatre production, graphic design and branding. In addition, DDP showcases and promotes Debbie Deer's various artistic projects within the multimedia field including her work in Film, Theatre and Graphic Design. The objective of Debbie Deer Productions is to translate our passions and skills to the world and to introduce a platform for forward thinking, media artisans whose aim it is to create riveting productions via the multimedia arts.

INNOVATION THROUGH UNCERTAINTY. 🚀

What does innovation look like when education, technology, community and industry come together?

For me, it looks like partnership.

I recently had the opportunity to be part of a conversation at Centennial College about the future of postsecondary education and innovation.

One quote from Dean Jonathan Hack really captured the spirit of the work:

“I believe a commitment to continual innovation is the single most value that any organization can have.”

And there is a lot happening.

Ontario has announced $6.4 BILLION in additional postsecondary funding over four years, including support for 70,000 additional in-demand seats.

The question now is:

What will we build with that opportunity?

As Program Manager with Integrated Health and Community Care (IHCC) and Centre of Innovation & Entrepreneurship - Centennial College Principal Co-Investigator & Immersive Lab Lead, I’m excited to be contributing to partnerships connecting:

🚀 What a journey! As I close out the 8-week Venture Catalyst Accelerator, I’m reflecting on the growth, the pivots, and the powerful community built along the way.

Presenting at the Venture Catalyst Showcase 2026 was a milestone but the real impact is the direction we’re heading.

A heartfelt thank you to Jonathan Hack and Wenzi Ckurshumova, PhD from Centennial College for your guidance, support and belief in our vision. Special thanks to WIMTACH Centennial College and Saran James-Vaughan for your research and development partnership.

Very deep appreciation to the organizers and mentors YSpace, York University, .co and SmartTo for organizing this program and to my cohort of incredible founders!

At , we’re focused on a critical and growing challenge: the rise of injuries in youth athletics and the long-term impact on health, confidence, and performance.

Through this accelerator, we’ve sharpened our mission to build innovative sports-tech solutions that leverage immersive technology and data to support injury prevention, athlete development, and safer training environments for young athletes.

But innovation must be responsible.

As we develop and commercialize our MVP, we are equally committed to ethical data collection, ensuring transparency, consent, and protection for youth athletes and their communities.

We’re actively forging partnerships with universities, sports organizations, and research institutions to bring this vision to life; bridging technology, education, and sport in meaningful ways.
