I laugh every time I see Stephen Harper’s TV commercial. Do they actually think it’s helping?!?
Let’s remember a few of the boneheaded moves PP’s old boss made that created part of this mess.

-Yes, the GST was created by Mulroney’s Conservatives but the HST was brought in and expanded under Harper.

-Harper’s government was found in contempt of Parliament — an unprecedented event in Canadian history.

-The Harper government slashed defense spending to its lowest levels since WWII. Bases closed. Veterans were ignored.

-Freedom of Speech
The last real gag order in this country was under Harper, when government scientists were forbidden from sharing research that the government didn’t agree with. Sound familiar?
Now, Conservatives are openly discussing using the Notwithstanding Clause to override Supreme Court rulings. That’s not freedom — that’s control…a very Trumpish.

So, whenever you hear PP spewing lies and whining about these issues, rememberer where it all came from.

We need someone with calm intelligence to finally run the show.
