You can’t always see CRPS — but that doesn’t mean it isn’t real. 💛

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is often called the “invisible illness” because the pain, burning, and fatigue don’t always show on the outside.

Many Fighters look “fine,” but behind every brave smile is someone battling a constant storm of pain. ⚡

This CRPS Awareness Month, let’s remember that not all pain is visible — and kindness costs nothing.

đŸ’Ș To all our Ferocious Fighters: your strength shines even when your pain can’t be seen. 🧡

Severe and Very Severe ME

“It is highly unlikely that you can imagine how much the person diagnosed with Severe ME is suffering”
- Greg Crowhurst, Stonebird

To help raise awareness about the realities of Severe ME, we have curated a number of Greg’s posts that clearly illustrate the most debilitating symptoms and features. We hope this information will support greater understanding and education. Please see the links to Greg’s detailed posts below and in the comments.

It’s important for others to understand that people across all severity levels experience challenging and disabling symptoms. These can fluctuate from day to day, or even within the same day, and include reduced functional ability, limited activity, multiple sensitivities, cognitive difficulties, and extreme exhaustion.

CRPS can cause intense pain, fatigue, and weakness that make walking or standing extremely difficult — even if someone “looks fine.”

This CRPS Awareness Month, let’s challenge assumptions and remember:
🌈 Disabilities don’t have one look.
đŸ’Ș Pain doesn’t always show.
💛 Compassion always matters.
