It’s that time of the year when you feel like shouting “Jesus!” at almost every door.

In Canada and the US, people celebrate Halloween and decorate their homes with scary images.

In Nigeria (Igbo land), we call it the nmo (masquerade) season and we Christians usually don’t take part in it.

What’s your opinion on this?

Sweet Funny Story 😂


My church preaches one message in 3 ways:

Sermon: the traditional way of readying a story from the bible and explaining the concept with relatable examples.

Kids’ story: the kids comes to the alter with the Rev to read a story they can relate to, still maintaining the concept of the bible reading for the day.

Movie version: Similar story will be displayed on the screen, same concept.

This is the church trying to carry everyone along 🫂

Guess which one hits me the hardest? 👀

Am I a deep thinker or just here like a kid? 😂

The kids story of cause, I relate more with the simple children version of the sermon. It comes with lots of funny scenes and we all laugh during this session.

I guess I’m a child at heart ❤️ 😝

Yesterday, Sunday, was Thanksgiving Sunday. In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated just like Christmas (public holidays, family gatherings, travel, and lots of love and food).

During the service, we were asked what we’re most thankful for. Many mentioned their spouses, careers, or blessings. When it got to my turn, I said family, because I’m truly grateful for the gift of family and for friends who have become like family. ❤️
