যে বিদেশী নাগরিকরা কানাডায় ভিজিটর হিসেবে আছেন এবং যারা একটি বৈধ চাকরির অফার পেয়েছেন তারা দেশ ত্যাগ না করেই ওয়ার্ক পারমিটের জন্য আবেদন করতে এবং পেতে সক্ষম হবেন। এই পাবলিক নীতির অধীনে আবেদনকারী দর্শকরা যারা গত 12 মাসের মধ্যে ওয়ার্ক পারমিট ধারণ করেছেন তারাও তাদের নতুন নিয়োগকর্তার জন্য আরও দ্রুত কাজ শুরু করার জন্য অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন কাজের অনুমোদনের অনুরোধ করতে সক্ষম হবেন। আজকে মেয়াদ শেষ হতে চলেছে, এই COVID-যুগের অস্থায়ী পাবলিক পলিসি 2 বছর বাড়ানো হয়েছে, 28 ফেব্রুয়ারী, 2025 পর্যন্ত।
