👶 শিশুদের স্পিচ ডিলে (Speech Delay) বা কথা বলতে দেরি হলে কী করবেন? এই পোস্টটি সেভ করে রাখুন!📌

কানাডার স্পিচ থেরাপিস্টরা অভিভাবকদের এই "আর্লি ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ স্ট্র্যাটেজি" বা প্রাথমিক ভাষা কৌশলগুলো ব্যবহারের পরামর্শ দেন:

✅️ ​মুখোমুখি হওয়া (Face-to-Face): শিশুর সাথে খেলার সময় তার চোখের লেভেলে বসুন। এতে শিশু আপনার মুখের ভঙ্গি এবং শব্দ উচ্চারণ পদ্ধতি সহজে দেখতে পাবে।

✅️ ​সহজভাবে কথা বলুন (Simplify): শিশু যতটুকু বলতে পারে, আপনিও ঠিক ততটুকু বা তার চেয়ে সামান্য বড় বাক্যে কথা বলুন। শিশু যদি বলে "জুস", আপনি বলুন "আরো জুস"।

✅️ ​অপেক্ষা করুন ও শুনুন (Wait and Listen): শিশুকে উত্তর দেওয়ার জন্য পর্যাপ্ত সময় দিন। সে ইশারা করছে কিনা বা কোনো শব্দ করার চেষ্টা করছে কিনা সেদিকে খেয়াল রাখুন।

✅️ ​শিশুর পছন্দকে গুরুত্ব দিন (Follow Their Lead): শিশু যেভাবে খেলতে চায় সেভাবেই তাকে সঙ্গ দিন। সে যে খেলনা নিয়ে আগ্রহী, আপনিও সেটা নিয়েই তার সাথে খেলুন।

✅️ ​তার মনের কথা মুখে বলুন (Say What They’re Thinking): শিশু যা দেখছে বা ভাবছে তা ছোট করে মুখে বলুন। যেমন শিশু আকাশের দিকে তাকালে আপনি বলুন "দেখো, ​পাখি!"

✅️ ​শব্দ বাড়িয়ে বলুন (Expand): শিশু যা বলছে তার সাথে একটি নতুন শব্দ যোগ করুন।
​উদাহরণ: শিশু যদি বলে "জুতো", আপনি বলুন "লাল জুতো" অথবা "আমার জুতো"।

​প্রতিদিনের ছোট ছোট কাজের মাধ্যমেই আপনার শিশুর ভাষার বিকাশ সম্ভব। ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নিন এবং তাদের সাথে বেশি বেশি সময় কাটান!

After months of quiet building, I can finally share a small glimpse of my first bilingual Bangla children's book, Alhamdulillah.
What started as simple sketches and notes slowly came to life through the incredible work of a talented Bangladeshi illustrator who understood my vision from the very beginning.
There’s still so much ahead from offset printing to production, logistics but this feels like a meaningful milestone.
I have decided to document my self-publishing journey for my first children’s board book. It’s a big commitment, but I’m fully here for it, In Sha Allah.
