"Human Touch" is a song by Australian musician Rick Springfield, released in 1983 as the second single from his seventh album Living in Oz. It was his most successful hit in the UK. This also led to a performance on Top of the Pops. Because of this being Springfield's only top 40 single in the UK, he is considered a one-hit wonder there, despite the fact that "Jessie's Girl" is his biggest hit worldwide. The irony of the song is using synthesizers and drum machines in a song that rails against the impersonal coldness of computerized society, but this works quite well.

Written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1933. It would be included in film soundtracks and excluded several times again, and each time it would be the same song with Hart changing the lyrics to fit the movie. Eventually, it would be released as sheet music, being recorded by Glen Gray and Connee Boswell. It entered the world of rock 'n roll when Elvis used the classic in the movie "Viva Las Vegas" in 1954. The Marcels recorded their doo-wop version of the song in 1961. Their single sold over a million copies.

(Mike Daniels). Groove Armada credited Daniels for the cross-genre sound of the track, saying it was house music with influences of dancehall, reggae, and dub, with a speed garage bassline. 🧀Op 15-jarige leeftijd ging Nico Landers de bouw in als stukadoor. Hij werd daarna ook wel de zingende stukadoor genoemd. Aangemoedigd door onder anderen Koos Alberts nam Landers in 1985 zijn eerste singles op. Landers bracht in 1994 Liefde in de nacht uit, een satirische cover van John Paul Youngs Love is in the Air. Het nummer kwam op 16 april 1994 binnen in de Mega Top 50 en stond er elf weken in, waarvan twee weken op nummer zeven. In de Nederlandse Top 40 bereikte Landers de elfde plaats.

🍁 At the age of 15, Nico Landers started working as a plasterer. He was then also called the singing plasterer. Encouraged by Koos Alberts, among others, Landers recorded his first singles in 1985. Landers released Love in the Night in 1994, a satirical cover of John Paul Young's Love is in the Air. The song entered the Mega Top 50 on April 16, 1994 and was there for eleven weeks, including two weeks at number seven. Landers reached eleventh place in the Dutch Top 40.

Degüello is the sixth studio album by the American rock band ZZ Top, released in November 1979. It was the first ZZ Top release on Warner Bros. Records and eventually went platinum. Returning from a two-year hiatus, the band began to showcase the influence they had collected during the time away; Gibbons' time in Europe introduced him to punk music. The album marked the first time that ZZ Top featured cover versions on a studio album: "I Thank You" by Isaac Hayes/David Porter and "Dust My Broom", credited on early editions to Elmore James but subsequently credited to Robert Johnson who recorded it in 1936. Elmore James had adapted and popularized the song in 1951.
