Big L was different from rip 😤🔥
In 1992, after discovering Big L - Lord Finesse invited him to the studio to come record for the Yes You May (Funk Flow Remix) and the rest is history. Big L from the get go just floated over top of the minimalist Showbiz production which was the perfect foreshadowing to his consistent poignancy every time he touched the microphone.

It’s mind blowing how many people don’t know that Jay-Z x ODB x Big Daddy Kane had a song together, produced by DJ Premier!! 🤯🔥
Before Jay-Z’s debut album, after touring with he was one of the featured artists on the posse cut Show & Prove from his ‘94 album Daddy’s Home. The produced single also featured SCOOB, , , Jay-Z and and they even filmed a video together for it!

Either people sleep on it or they don’t know, but too many people sleep on Jadakiss’ debut verse on record Set It Off. At this time, he was part of the Warlocks (later coined The LOX) with Styles and Sheek (who also appears on the record).
