Tune in to hear how Appalachia’s legends, creativity, and resilience continue to shape our culture today.

We’re in southern Maryland this week filming America the Bountiful: Declaration of Food Independence! This new special, premiering in July 2026 on Create TV, explores how early Americans grew, traded, and cooked their way toward independence — while honoring the Indigenous peoples and enslaved individuals whose knowledge and labor built our nation’s food story. I’m thrilled to reunite with the amazing team at Credo Nonfiction to bring these powerful stories to life. Visit americathebountifulshow.com for more about the show and the upcoming special.
