Taylor acoustics are known for being rather bright sounding guitars — very clear and detailed in the top end frequencies. This one has the clarity, but also an exceptionally warm and woody low end that I’m not used to hearing on Taylors. Gorgeous sound! This one got a setup, fret level, and an LR Baggs “Anthem” pickup/preamp system! ✌️❤️🤘

The Squier ‘51 is a guitar model that’s completely exclusive to Squier — that’s to say there is no Fender version. However, it got the name “Squier 51” because the design is largely based on the design of a 1951 Fender P-Bass. The song I picked for this post is “Rocket “88””, which is from 1951 — very fitting! — but that’s not the only reason I picked it… it’s also what many folks consider to be the VERY FIRST rock and roll record. Super cool! ✌️❤️🤘

Lovin’ this beautiful Tele, made right here in Canada! Specifically, Newfoundland! As you may know, naming guitars is one of my many professions… This one got the name “twofer” cause I thought it wasn’t highly improbable that some beers were involved in the making of this rock and roll machine! Twofer got all new electronics, a fret level and a setup — ready for the jam sesh!✌️❤️🤘

I’ve heard a lot of great things about these Breedlove acoustics, and I can see why! Lovely craftsmanship! Repaired a crack in the top caused by our super dry colder months (can you see it? 👀 I doubt it!) and it also got a fret level and setup ✌️❤️🤘

This Squier Mustang has had a ton of modifications, many of which were at the hand of its owner before I even got my hands on it! My contributions were a bone nut, fret level, setup and a lot of extras: refining the custom gloss finish on the back of the neck and part of the headstock, repairing some chip out in the fingerboard, freeing up some stuck bridge screws, etc. This Mustang is a real stunner now! ✌️❤️🤘

Sweet PRS! This one’s been in the shop for a full setup before, but this is its debut on the Crafton Guitars Insta! Just needed a little pit stop: Reconditioned the fingerboard, fresh NYXL 10 gauge strings and a little truss rod adjustment. Ready for action! ✌️❤️🤘

Always a treat to work on Martin guitars! Maintenance and repairs on a Martin is always a breeze because they’re just so beautifully constructed to begin with. Loving the sound and presentation on this OM-28. She’s a stunner 😍 Setup with Elixirs, nice! Oh and fun fact, I picked the song “The Weight” for this post because the line “I pulled in from Nazareth” was inspired by the fact that when you look inside the sound hole of a Martin guitar, you’ll see “Nazareth, PA”. How cool is that! ✌️❤️🤘

This is the sister bass to the (also) mirror guarded Jazz bass I had in not too long ago! This one got all the same appointments minus the fret level — just a setup was needed on this one, although the fret ends were dressed, which is something I do on every setup. Same sparkling roundwound D’Addario strings. Sparkly and shiny just like that stunning mirror guard! ✌️❤️🤘

Here’s something you don’t see every day — A solid body Ovation electric! Ovation is best known for their acoustic/electric hybrid guitars. The guitar was missing the original truss cover, so the owner went on a mission to find an original to replace it with — and they did! Love that kind of attention to detail. It was missing screws, so I found a good match and had the honour of installing it. In addition to that, it got a full setup with some NYXL 9 gauge strings ✌️❤️🤘
