🙏🏾 A BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYER FOR PARENTS & THEIR FINANCES
Father God, as we prepare our children for a new school year, we ask You to cover not only our children but our finances too.
Lord, give us wisdom to make good financial decisions. Help us distinguish between what our children need and what we simply want to give them.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.” James 1:5
Provide for every family navigating school supplies, clothes, lunches, fees, activities, transportation, and everything else that comes with a new school year.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Help us not compare our children’s back to school experience to anyone else’s. Give us contentment with what we can provide and wisdom to stay within our means.
“Godliness with contentment is great gain.” 1 Timothy 6:6
And Lord, for the parents who are stretching every dollar right now, open doors for increased income, unexpected provision, and opportunities that move their families forward.
Give us discipline to steward what You have already placed in our hands and courage to believe that we can build something better.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” Proverbs 21:5
This school year, let us walk into it prepared, peaceful, and financially wise not overwhelmed.
