24 Hours to Go!

An Update: We're very happy to announce that we some incredible new contributors to ad to our roster:

Celebrated artist, William Pope.L (2017 winner of the Bucksbaum Award at the Whitney Museum of American Art Biennial) will be contributing work to Flint, in addition to Ethel Kabwato (Zimbabwe) and Lynn Crawford (US) for Between Two Rocks, a creative exchange between Flint, MI and Zimbabwe, co-curated with Masimba Hwati and Chido Johnson.

We're nearing completion on the records!

Records havel been pressed (10" pressing, mix & mastering by Warren Defever), sorted by color, with inner sleeves printed by I/Ben (on Paul's Riso (thanks Paul!)) at Talking Dolls in Detroit. One Custom City has begun screen printing the poly outer sleeves and we'll be finishing these up over the next coming weeks. These sleeves hate holding ink... but when they do... they look so good!

Of course, many thanks to the contributors on this record for their incredible works. We are so fortunate to have works by Warren Defever, Francisco López, Mike Bullock, JT Bullitt Studio and Matt Klimas. Many thanks to our audio curator/editor, Joe Reinsel, and of course, to co-curator, Maia Here, for helping bring together this group of musicians and sound artists.
